Geotechnical Study for Slope Stability and In-Pit Dump (IPD) Bearing Capacity Evaluation PT Jembayan Muara Bara

Client: PT Jembayan Muara Bara

Completed Project

This geotechnical study was conducted to support open-pit mining planning and the evaluation of in-pit dump (IPD) areas. The study focused on assessing slope stability and foundation bearing capacity to ensure safe and reliable disposal operations. Field sampling and laboratory testing were carried out to obtain representative material parameters, which were analyzed using Limit Equilibrium Method (LEM) and Finite Element Method (FEM). The assessment covered various operational scenarios, including disposal design evaluation, seepage influence from drainage systems and settling ponds, as well as risk assessment in critical zones to support safe and sustainable mine operations.

Key Topics:

  • Slope Stability Evaluation (LEM & FEM)
  • In-Pit Dump (IPD) Bearing Capacity Assessment
  • Water Infiltration and Geotechnical Risk Analysis
