This study was conducted for PT Mifa Bersaudara (PT MIFA) and PT Bara Energi Lestari (PT BEL), coal mining companies operating in Aceh Province, Indonesia. The assessment focused on evaluating surface water conditions, rainfall distribution throughout the mine life, groundwater and aquifer characteristics, and the effectiveness of the mine dewatering and drainage system. The study also examined potential impacts on mining operations and surrounding communities, providing recommendations for water management strategies and hydrology-related CSR programs. Scope of work included rainfall analysis, watershed (catchment) assessment, mine drainage planning, and groundwater investigations.
